The Wayne Township Trustee's office accepts applications for assistance at the following times:

Monday - Wednesday 8:00 AM -11:00 AM
Thursday - By appointment only
Friday - 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Emergency applications:
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Individuals desiring to make an application for assistance should come to the office between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. It is recommended applicants arrive as early as possible, since the applications are processed as received. If the number of applicants received on a given day exceeds the amount of time to process all applications, and the assistance is not an emergency, late arriving applicants will be asked to return the following morning. Emergency applications only, will sometimes be taken from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. All follow up appointments are at this time as well.
What to bring to appointment
- Picture ID for all who are 18 and older in household.
- Social Security card for everyone in household.
- Verification of income for everyone in household for past 30 days.
- Expenses for past 30 days - receipts for money spent
- 30-day printouts of activity on checking and or savings accounts
- All current utility bills
- Last paid rent receipt.
